During these times what is there to do? To what do you turn when the winter of your discontent begins to settle in? Do you succumb to the sleepy droll of the mundane and turn again for yet another hour of respite…

From Genealogy to Redemption
Jesus came to make a way for us in the midst of the sin and depravity of man… and woman. It gives me hope to know that if God makes a way for these women then He makes a way for us all through believing in and following after Christ Jesus…
The Good Samaritan
Blocked… Stuck… Halted… Fixed…
Continuing… Pliable… Yielded… Growing…

Thirst…
I am a vessel. I want to be a vessel for honor. I want to be filled. I want to pour out. It is the nature of a vessel – its purpose is to be filled and to pour out…
Banner Over Me
And I know that I am placed here! This is intentional. And I am LOVED – I am LOVED by God.
I want to be in the Light…

Joy in the Smalls….
When we are seated at the Lord’s feet like Mary – we take the posture of a student – a lamb – a worshipper – a gleaner – an adoring one. The Lord pours out his good gifts to us continually: provision, healing, encouragement, affirmation, and even correction. And then in that glorious exchange we are privileged to pour out our worship, all that we have, and all that we are at his feet. So much so that it fills the entire room with the overpowering fragrance of extravagant worship.
Setting out…
I’m praying that my Father in Heaven will bless the steps I’m taking – bless my journey, guide my journey. My blog is titled journeying home – not because the journey has just begun but because I’ve been on this journey all my life. An earthly home is not the destination but an eternal one and on the way I am a sojourner in this land.
